As a fully licensed and insured NC General Contractor, we have a strong track record and the integrity to see our projects through with the utmost of care. Who We Are
We are The Brooks Family - Michael, Karen, Liliana, and Jessa. As the driving force behind Raleigh Outdoor, we aim to enhance the quality time families spend in their outdoor spaces.
Originally from Buffalo, NY (Michael) and Point Pleasant, NJ (Karen), we have called North Carolina home since graduating from UNC 20 years ago. Our daughters were born in Chapel Hill and have been raised in Raleigh, as we’ve bought, renovated, and sold houses across the region.
Karen's design expertise and product knowledge helps homeowners realize their visions within budget, while her approachable manner forges lasting connections with clients.
Michael contributes his technical skills and analytical acumen, providing the operational foundation for Raleigh Outdoor. With almost 15 years at SAS, his experience spans analytics consulting, account management, and business development.
Together, as a licensed and insured North Carolina General Contractor, we offer our trusted knowledge and expertise to create the outdoor oasis you've always dreamed of!

Raleigh Outdoor succeeds because of the amazing team we have put together.
Billy Huber is our Principal Installer and jack of all trades. He has worked in various construction roles for over 20 years and prides himself on his meticulous attention to detail.
Amanda Wilson is our Sales Executive, which means she wears a variety of hats to help get the job done. From introducing new clients to Raleigh Outdoor, through design consultations, all the way to being on site for builds to ensure everything is going to plan.
